I have taken Child Birth Classes with birth advocate Zeresh Altork and enjoyed it very much. I found it to be very informative and educational. Zeresh made it fun and easy to understand. As a young expecting mother, I did not know much about the process or detail in carrying a child. My idea of expericening labor and delivery was “Epidural ofcourse.” However, as I learned more and more in each class I was able to get an idea about the pros and cons for every option that is out there for expecting mothers. I was supprised to learn that I have more control and choices about my pregnancy, especially during my labor and delivery then I thought. There are so many things to concider while being pregnant and I feel like a better mother to my child that I am educated on the options and resources available to me. After taking the classes I feel I can pick and choose what I think is best for my child and me during my pregnancy, labor and delivery. Not to mention, what options or things I can do during and after birth. I am so happy I was able to take these classes. I feel like an educated mother and I am confident in my ability to deliver and care for my child and myself.
